The Books of Samuel & Sin and Holiness

2010 Summer Quarter Adult Elective:
The Books of Samuel and Sin & Holiness
Teacher: Stephanie Meadows
This study is about one of the most significant spiritual leaders
in the whole history of Israel. That man, Samuel, who was born
as a gift from God in answer to his mother's earnest prayers, led
Israel as a prophet, priest, and judge.
This study examines these three dimensions of His calling from
God and his ministry to Israel. Samuel was by far the greatest
of the judges of Israel, and his life bridged the transition in
ancient Israel from leadership by judges to leadership by kings.
Reluctantly, but God's direction, Samuel's life is an excellent
example of what God can do through an individual completely
yielded to Him.
You don't want to miss this new study in the Sanctuary at
10:00 a.m every Sunday morning.
Team Crossroads 'Haiti' Missions Trip

Team Crossroads • "Haiti" Missions Trip
We are so excited that you have expressed an interest in coming
to Haiti to see firsthand the work that Destiny Village is doing.
have the opportunity not only to see what we are doing, but you will
get to be a part of what we are doing.
We hope you are just as excited about this trip as we are. I understand
for many of you this will be your first time out of the country and you
may be a little nervous, too. I am not sure that there is any way to fully
prepare yourself for the poverty you will see, but we do know if you will
go with an open mind and an open heart that it won’t take long for you to
fall in love with Haiti and her people.
We encourage you to spend time in prayer asking God to prepare you
mentally, physically and spiritually for this trip. You probably have all
kinds of questions and hopefully this manual answers most of them.
If you have any others please feel free to e-mail them to me at
warrenk@crossroadscog.com.
We look forward to seeing you on the mission field.
